 | Phat City is a dynamic party band based in Baltimore, Maryland. With lead female and male vocals, tight harmonies, and a steady dance beat, we can bring fun & vitality to your party or event.
Playing a wide variety of music - from the 1950's to today - we have people of all ages kicking up their heels. We pride ourselves on our crowd-pleasing tunes, energetic dance beats, enthusiastic performances, and our powerful ballads.
Each member of the band brings a unique background and set of talents to the group, creating a winning combination! We are seasoned musicians, dependable, professional, and highly responsive.
We have performed at yacht clubs, weddings, reunions, clubs, private parties, bull roasts, crab feasts, fundraisers, and many other special events. Band Founder, Booking Manager , "Bad Boy on Bass", and Vocals
Jim is no stranger to the music world. His prior bands include Shenandoah, Doubleshot, the touring show band - Good and Plenty, and Gene Vincent and the Cadillac Cruisers, backing up national acts such as Frankie Ford, Fabian, and Bobby Lewis. Jim has performed in Europe and the United States, and is a seasoned performer. In 1996, he decided to start his own variety/dance band, and Phat City was born!

 | Christine "Chris" Ouellette Vocalist & Web Coordinator
Chris joined Phat City in 2004. Before joining Phat City, she sang with The Dixie Land Band, 44 'Til, Foundation, Manic Groove, Sparkle. She was selected twice as a semi-finalist in Baltimore's Billie Holiday Vocal Competition, has worked on projects with local recording studios, and performs as a soloist at weddings. |
 | Drums, Technical Coordinator & Arranger
Dave previously played with two legendary, Baltimore based recording bands: Bob Brady and the Concords - one of the region's most popular live acts, opening for the likes of the Beach Boys, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and Martha & the Vandellas - and Pen Lucy. Dave, who is multi-talented, started out playing the saxophone, and now plays drums! He keeps the band steady, literally and figuratively! |
 | Guitar & Vocals
Kevin is the newest member of Phat City. Kevin has played in many private affair and variety bands over the years including Badge, Trix, Fresh Air, Ecstasy, and Manhattan Project to name a few. With his enthusiasm, strong vocals, and versatility on the guitar, he is a welcome addition to the band! |

New Year's Eve Party @ Boswell Hall!

Phat City is thrilled to be playing a New Year's Eve Party for the Bowie Knights of Columbus at Boswell Hall. The party will be 7pm - 1am.
